Tenna Naomi Willis, loving wife, beloved mother and grandmother, devoted sister, cherished aunt and adored
friend, passed away, after a lingering illness, Thursday evening, January 26, 2012 at home surrounded by her
family. She was 80.
She was born December 15, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho, the youngest daughter of Henry McCully and Mary
Wilkins McCully. She grew up in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High School, thereafter, attending
Idaho State University.
She met Robert E. Willis, when he was stationed in Mountain Home, Idaho. They were married in Pocatello
on August 18, 1978.
Tenna was employed by Union Pacific Railroad as a Crew Dispatcher, retiring in 1994
Before becoming ill, Tenna loved to entertain and was known for her quick wit and sometimes sharp tongue.
She enjoyed bowling, going to casinos and was a fierce competitor when playing cards.
Tenna is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter Paulette Willis Baldwin and husband Lowe, Boise,Id, granddaughter, Taaje Willis McCalister, Chandler, AZ, her brother Spencer McCully and wife Nina, Pocatello, Id, nieces Donna Blackwell, Long Beach, CA.,Carolyn Doster, Sacramento, CA., Gloria Boddie., Forestville, MD., Marilyn Doster, Hyattsville, MD.,Cynthia Bradshaw, Columbia, MO., Theresa McCully, Las Vegas, NV.,
Sandra Gates, Las Vegas, NV and nephews Charles McCully, Pueblo, CO., Don Doster, Pocatello, ID.,
Paul McCully, Seattle, WA., Jimmy McCully, Albuquerque
, NM and grandnieces Shirley Brown, Inglewood, CA.,
Lynn Mapp, Boise, ID., and many more grandnieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by
her parents, sisters Mabel Arrington and Jessie Doster and brother Henry (Sonny) McCully.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11AM in the Cornelison Funeral Chapel,
431 North 15th Avenue, Pocatello. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Wednesday, February
1, 2012 and one hour prior to service Thursday in the funeral chapel.
